DDI competencies and leadership development content to integrate into Halogen TalentSpace™ suite
Washington, D.C. — Halogen Customer Conference — September 11, 2014 — Halogen Software (TSX: HGN) and Development Dimensions International (DDI) announced a partnership to integrate and resell DDI’s comprehensive, newly-updated behavior-based competency library and proven leadership development content into the Halogen TalentSpace™ suite.
Through this partnership, customers can choose from a variety of content bundles and use DDI competencies and learning modules pre-configured within Halogen TalentSpace, to establish a company-wide language and framework for attracting, assessing, retaining and developing talent at all levels, business-wide. The content will be licensed through Halogen on a subscription basis and implemented via Halogen professional services.
Two pieces of research released this year demonstrate the importance of improving manager effectiveness. In the report “Frontline Managers: Are they Given the Tools to Succeed?”, Halogen Software and Harvard Business Review found that despite the importance of these leaders to organizational success, executives worldwide give them low marks on key leadership competencies. Further, DDI and The Conference Board’s Global Leadership Forecast 2014|2015 research states that CEOs are focused on improving leadership to address their number one challenge: human capital.
Sandra Karpis, Vice President of Human Resources at CI Investments, says this partnership will support her organization in improving frontline leadership development and in meeting its strategic objectives:
“As a customer of both Halogen and DDI, we see this combination of DDI’s research-backed content with Halogen’s talent management suite as a powerful foundation to fast-track our talent strategy and accelerate meeting our business objectives by improving frontline leadership and employee performance.”
“From subscription licensing to implementation and services, Halogen and DDI are making this combination of industry-leading content and technology accessible and affordable for many organizations across their entire employee base,” says Lisa Rowan, VP HCM Research, IDC. “The mid-market is the fastest growing segment for talent management technology adoption, and this partnership offers a powerful way for these organizations to help their people grow and develop, and get to business results faster.”
DDI sees the partnership as a clear alignment between company cultures as well as a way to address new markets.
“Halogen has a proven commitment to customer experience, which is completely aligned with DDI’s culture,” said Bruce Marks, Director, Global Strategic Partnerships, DDI. “Together, we’re going to deliver incredible value to these organizations, with a focus on helping them build a world-class workforce and accelerate business performance.”
