Curiosity and the drive to take on new challenges have taken Laura from a childhood growing up in the Canadian countryside to an MBA from Carleton University, a year studying abroad in Sweden and a stint doing international development research in Africa. It also led Laura to talent management, where as a Product Marketing Manager for Saba, she helps organizations solve critical problems such as how to attract and retain top talent.
Laura brings a millennial perspective to performance management, believing it should not only help the organization achieve its goals, but also give employees what they want and need to be productive and happy. She backs that up with nine years’ experience in talent management implementation and customer advocacy.
Laura is certified by the Human Capital Institute as a Human Capital Strategist and she has been certified as a Card Sort Analyst by Development Dimensions International (DDI).
A passionate problem solver, the puzzle Laura is still trying to crack is that 9x9 grid of frustration: Sudoku.
