New Administrator Training
For: Halogen administrators who are new to the Halogen modules
Have you made any new additions to your HR team since you implemented your Halogen suite? You can purchase the same training sessions that are included in many of our implementation packages individually. These live, instructor-led sessions will teach your new administrators all of the key concepts they need to successfully setup and run a Halogen talent management process.

HR Administrator Training
For: HR staff who've been assigned the HR Administrator/HR Representative role in the Halogen talent management suite
The HR Administrator/HR Representative role in the Halogen suite gives users limited (configurable) access to assigned processes and participants, with limited access to employee information - this role is different from the overall Administrator role. Our Halogen eAppraisal HR Administrator training focuses on the tasks HR administrators/HR representatives can perform to facilitate a performance appraisal process. Attendees also receive end user training so they understand the tasks the managers and employes they support will have to complete.
HR Administrator Training: 4 hours delivery, up to 1 hour preparation
Train the Trainer
For: anyone who'll be training Halogen end users (managers and employees)
If you'll be delivering your own end user training, Halogen's Train the Trainer program can be invaluable. Your in-house training staff will learn how to set up and deliver successful employee training sessions based on your Halogen processes and forms. The program walks participants through everything they need to know about preparing for and conducting end-user training.
Train the Trainer: 4 hours delivery, up to 2 hours preparation
Hourly Training
Looking for something specific that you don't see listed here? Why not hire a trainer by the hour to help you reach your goals? You can access a certified Halogen training consultant for a flat hourly rate. This is ideal for the administrator who wants to zero in on particular topics they need to refresh or ramp up on.

As part of your training, you'll receive a set of comprehensive reference manuals that cover all system features and functionality. PDF versions are available free of charge, but you can also purchase additional printed copies or copies on CD for a modest charge (to cover production and shipping costs).
End User Training Options
Customized Video Tutorials
For: end users (managers and employees)
Halogen can create customized, web-based video tutorials for your organization. Combining Flash animation and narrative audio, these tutorials provide your employees with a step-by-step walk-through of their talent management process tasks. They offer customized and consistent messaging in a searchable self-paced format. You can include these tutorials in your suite's Useful Links section.
Customized Training Manuals
For: end users (managers and employees)
Halogen can also create customized training manuals for your employees and managers. These manuals cover all tasks that your managers and employees will need to complete as part of your talent management processes – and come complete with a navigation menu and keyword search function. You can add these manuals to the Useful Links section in your suite, for easy reference.
Halogen eAppraisal™ Manager Training
For: managers who will be completing performance appraisals for their direct reports
If you'd like, Halogen can also train your managers. In these sessions, your managers will learn about each of the tasks they'll be required to complete as part of your appraisal process, with a focus on completing employee evaluations. This training is based on your organization's unique workflow and forms.
Manager Training: 1.5 hours delivery (1 hour preparation)
Halogen eAppraisal Employee Training
For: employees who will be participating in a performance appraisal process
Halogen can even train your employees. A Halogen training consultant will introduce your employees to eAppraisal, and answer any questions. Your employees will learn about each of the tasks they need to complete during your performance appraisal process.
