Choose the Best Method to Assess and Rate Competencies
Halogen eAppraisal Hospitality's competency management functionality lets you choose to rate competencies:
- Using a short rating scale –either numerical or qualitative ("Needs Improvement" to "Exceeds Expectations") - and optional comment for simple competency assessments.
- Using detailed descriptions of the various levels of competency demonstration and optional comments.
You can also use different layout styles to rate competencies, including a matrix layout that lets you easily gather data on different performance dimensions, for example: how well was the competency demonstrated, how frequently was it demonstrated, its weight, who observed the demonstration, etc.
