Halogen Software Posts another Record Quarter and Record Year
Demand for Halogen eAppraisal and Halogen e360 Employee Performance Management solutions remains strong
OTTAWA, January 25th, 2005 – Halogen Software today announced the close of a record fourth quarter of fiscal 2004, ending Dec 31, concluding a highly successful year. The company consistently set new records throughout the year, surpassing expectations for quarterly license and overall revenues. Other records were also noted.
The fourth quarter, its best to-date, saw a 250% year over year increase in the number of eAppraisal seats sold. New customer wins for a quarter were at an all time high at 39, bringing the total for the year to 115. The sharp rise in new customer wins is even more significant compared to the company's 36 total new EPM customers in all of 2003. The unprecedented success in 2004 is the result of continued high demand for the company's web-based employee performance management (EPM) solutions - which are purported to be highly adaptable to any environment as well as simple to install, implement and use.
Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Centre purchased Halogen eAppraisal Healthcare in late November and has already successfully deployed their first web-based appraisals for their employees. "We are most impressed with how simple Halogen eAppraisal was to implement," says Trisha Wright, Director, Human Resources for Mary Bird Perkins, "Our managers are loving the application! And it takes a lot for them to love any new product."
Other new clients last quarter included First National Bank, NCAA, Maritrans, Websense, Inc., Americorp, Pacific Seafood, the City of Tuscaloosa, Collin County, Calvary Hospital, Standard Bank, Vanguard Health Management, Mission Hospital and Olean General Hospital.
Halogen is already on track to surpass this growth in 2005. A new product release is scheduled for later this month, augmenting its suite of online solutions and furthering the company's position as the employee performance management solution of choice.
