The countdown is on here at Halogen, as we’re less than two months away from our fourth annual user conference. This year’s conference is set for September 14th and 15th and is packed full of things to inspire customers about the future of talent management with strategic and practical sessions to support human resources leadership.

In the conference education sessions, Halogen experts and customers will share best practices and real-world experiences on a wide breadth of talent management areas. We are thrilled to have a number of our customers presenting sessions include senior HR leaders from Aprimo, Christiana Care, Clow Water Systems, Cummins Mid-South, Martin-Brower, Mid-Atlantic Permanente, New England Organ Bank, and Thomas Jefferson Hospitals. They will be discussing a wide variety of topics including: the importance of succession planning; making pay for performance work; performance-based learning; preventing grade creep; making patient satisfaction part of the performance management process in healthcare; best practices for project-based reviews; how Halogen services help organizations do more with less; building a business case for talent management investments, and more.

As one of last year’s attendees, Leigh Hirnisey, Human Resources Partner, at Aprimo explains:

“Last year’s conference was outstanding, and I came back to my office with a ton of ideas that I could apply to our talent management practice. I’m already looking forward to attending this year’s conference, and gaining more practical and strategic information that our team can use to extend the value of our system.”

We also have two awesome keynote speakers will kick off each day with inspirational sessions to assist with professional development and address current hot topics in HR. Richard Hadden, co-author the Contented Cows series of leadership books, will open day one of the conference with a fun yet business savvy discussion focused on “Maximizing the Return on Human Capital in Turbulent Times.” Kris Dunn, VP of People at Daxko, best known for his popular HR Capitalist and Fistful of Talent blogs, will kick off day two of the conference with a passionate session on “Using Social Media to Stay Current in HR.”
