So we’ve just got a few days to go before we head off to SHRM. I’ve been meaning to drop a line about the event, but you know how busy it is getting ready for such a big show! We’ve got some great news to share at SHRM this year, and we hope you’ll drop in to see us at Booth #818 if you’re going.
The show is going to be better than ever. In particular, we’re impressed with the emphasis on blogging that’s been developing this year. For example, SHRM has set up a handy event blog, which includes daily updates on conference sessions and speakers, volunteering, green initiatives, re-certification credits, book signings, legislative information, and much more.
And on the agenda is a Panel session with key HR bloggers, including YourHRGuy Lance Haun, Laurie Ruettimann from PunkRock HR, Kris Dunn of HR Capitalist fame, and Jessica Lee the editor of Fistful of Talent. You can see their session “HR Bloggers: Who are these people and why should I care?” on Wednesday from 11:30 - 12:45.
As a ramp up to SHRM, we’ve also got a great, fun contest going. Enter our “Top 10 Ways to Be Brilliant at Talent Management” contest and you could win one of two iPod Touch Media Players.
