Succession planning is one of those things that is still problematic for a lot of companies. Many organizations still get confused between replacement planning and succession planning. Others only consider the need to replace c-level executives rather than all critical roles/skills in the organization. And for many, it seems like a daunting task, so they put it off.

But succession planning is really important to the current and future success of your organization. And it really doesn’t have to be that hard.
