Last week, week we issued a press release on how Texas-based companies are relying on Halogen for talent management. What’s interesting is the sheer number of customers we’ve built up in this state – more than 100! Are companies in the lone star state more talent management savvy than others? It’s hard to say if it is the result of word of mouth or just a certain approach to HR and technology, but Texas-based companies really get it when it comes to talent management!
You can check out the news here. Here’s a just few examples of how Texas companies are using Halogen:
Convenience Food Systems (Frisco), an international food packaging systems company is focused on being able to answer the talent management challenges of globalization. Employee performance management is a key priority for the organization and they are using their system to manage it across multiple offices in a consistent manner.
Galderma Laboratories (Fort Worth), a well-known multi-national dermatology products company is growing rapidly and company’s HR team needs to focus on strategic drivers. “Halogen gives us the ability to manage the large quantity of data we collect during appraisals and to use this information to effectively contribute to and track against corporate goals,” said Robin Clayton, Director of HR, Galderma Laboratories.
Lubbock Heart Hospital delivers superior patient care focused on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. They’ve automated their employee performance management system using competency-based assessments, resulting in higher quality appraisals that are more accurate and consistent. According to Christina Dill Corley, Executive Director of Support Services with the Lubbock Heart Hospital. “This helps ensure that we meet our commitment to our employees, and ultimately our patients.”
Padgett, Stratemann & Co., L.L.P. (San Antonio and Austin) is one of the largest locally-owned CPA and business advisory firms in Texas. “As a professional services firm, our employees are our greatest asset,” said Michelle L. Wiederstein, PHR, PI, Human Resources Manager with Padgett, Stratemann & Co. “Halogen’s talent management suite for professional services helps us provide our team with a clear career path and development plan, while ensuring the firm has a strong succession plan as our senior partners retire or move on.”
Redi Carpet (Stafford) has grown to be one of the largest suppliers of flooring in the United States – a success based largely on the hard work of its committed employees. “The service we provide our customers is our vital competitive advantage. This makes effectively appraising our employees and maximizing activities such as retention and development key to our on-going success,” said Jerry Hosko, President and COO of Redi Carpet. “We needed to go beyond simply replacing our paper-based system and ensure that employee performance was clearly tied to our corporate objectives. Halogen’s solution does just that and helps us provide employees with clear and effective feedback to ensure we are meeting our overall strategic goals.”
