If your organization has ISO9001 certification, or if you’re preparing for certification, you know that the standard impacts the way you assess competencies, ensure awareness of your quality management system, and track training requirements and activities. Simply tracking employee learning is no longer enough to pass an audit.
These requirements can and should have an impact on HR and the organization’s performance management processes. Knowing how best to address them can be a challenge.
To help support ISO certified organizations meet these requirements, we’re hosting a webinar on October 28, given by Lorri Hunt. Lorri is a RAB accredited author and ISO expert. She’ll examine the reasons behind the ISO HR requirements and provide some ideas and best practices for implementation including:
- How to determine which employees must have competencies established
- How to determine what methods should be used when identifying employee competencies
- The many ways to ensure the necessary competence is achieved
- How to demonstrate the effectiveness of training and improved competency scores
You’ll learn:
- Best practices for implementing the enhanced standards
- Options for demonstrating the connection between competencies and training
- What ISO auditors will be looking for when examining your HR processes
There are still some spots left if you’d like to attend. You find out more about the webinar and register here. Hope to see you there!
