Check out this great poll from Harris Interactive that Kris Dunn has called out on his HR Capitalist blog. It illustrates how the 18-34 set (we like to call them Gen Y, The Millenials, etc.) need praise and thanks at work, but they want it very specifically. In person, NOT in email works best, and it had better be specific to their work functions, and presented one on one — no groups please.
